Sessions, Fees & FAQs
Initial Consultation
I usually recommend we begin with a free 15-20 minute introductory phone/video call. This session is a chance for us to get to know each other in a confidential space. You can share what’s brought you here, what you hope to achieve through therapy, and ask any questions about the process. There’s no obligation to continue after this meeting.
During this session, I’ll explain how therapy works and what you can expect. It’s important to me that you feel informed and at ease.

Fees
Each 50-minute session costs £55 (concessions may be available for those on low income and students - please ask).
Payment is due before your session and can be made by bank transfer.
Cancellation Policy
If you need to cancel or reschedule a session, please try to give at least 48 hours’ notice. This allows the space to be offered to someone else who may be waiting. Cancellations with less than 48 hours’ notice may be charged at the full session fee.
Frequently Asked Questions
How often are the sessions and how often?
Therapy sessions typically last 50 minutes and are usually held weekly at the same time and day, creating a consistent and safe space for you to explore and grow.
Is therapy confidential?
Yes. Everything we discuss stays between us, except in rare situations where I am legally required to share information to keep you or others safe. I’ll always explain this clearly before taking any action.
What if I don’t feel ready to talk about everything?
That’s completely okay. Therapy is your space to share at your own pace. There’s no pressure to discuss anything you’re not ready for.
What if I’m not sure therapy will help?
It’s normal to feel unsure at first. The initial consultation is a great chance to explore this and see if we’re a good fit. Many people find that even a few sessions bring new understanding and relief.
Can I just try a few sessions?
Absolutely. You can decide how many sessions feel right for you — whether it’s a one-off, short-term, or longer-term support.
